Although, in New England, Lake Living is second to none, waterfront homes pose challenges unique to their location. This beautiful Lakeside Retreat was no exception.
This narrow site, with 180 degree views of New London's beautiful Pleasant Lake, created many challenges for our team. The tight fit, shore land regulations and natural obstacles kept us on our toes through the entire design process. In the end, the collaborative efforts between our team, the client and builder resulted in a spectacular family home, where the end result speaks for itself.
When your back yard is one of the most beautiful views in town, it is natural to want to extend your living room outdoors. One of the unique and most spectacular features of this home is the stunning exterior living space. Multi-level stone patios and a cozy screened in porch allow enjoyment of the great outdoors to extend through three wonderful New Hampshire seasons.
Approach: Our team was responsible for the design, construction for the design, construction documents and construction observation of this 5,000 square foot custom home. To give our clients more time with their family, this home was designed to be energy efficient and easily maintained.
